For the collectors, here it is the showcase with all the carbon steel tradition knives.
Presentation of 10 carbon steel Opinel knives from the Tradition edition in a wooden box with cover.
Our carbon steel is extremely hard, thereby guaranteeing excellent cutting quality, good wear resistance and easy regrinding. Carbon can corrode easily. We advise you to avoid damp locations and to wipe and grease the blade after use.
Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
*With your OPINEL open, wipe the blade with a damp warm sponge and washing-up liquid. Rinse your sponge in warm water and wipe the blade a second time to remove any residue. Immediately dry the blade with a dry and soft tea towel. Lubricating the blade with cooking oil before closing the knife is recommended (this prevents oxidation). Important: Do not immerse your knife in water as this could warp the wooden handle and do not wash the blade by running it under water.
